Project Hope Worldwide (PHWW) is thrilled to announce that it’s annual fundraiser, “Kwero!”, will be held at the historic Mayo Hotel in downtown Tulsa, on April 15th at 6:00 p.m. Kwero is an exciting and fun dinner and auction with entertainment provided by legendary jazz musician, Grady Nichols, and African drummist, Arthur Thompson.
Donations go directly towards building an orphanage, medical clinic and school in Lira, Uganda, known as “Calo Me Lare” or “Village of Redemption”. Last year’s event proved to be a huge success, having raised approximately $60,000, which propelled PHWW’s vision into action. Board members and volunteers are predicting this year’s event to be even better with hopes of raising $100,000 with all proceeds going towards their continued efforts for orphans in Uganda.
